Helene's blond hair is so strikingly pale she could almost pass as albino. What I like about Helene is her outlook on life. I have never seen her angry or sad in all the years that I have known her. Always cheery and never a bad word about anyone. I put more of Helene in the painting than meets the eye. We can see her face in the branches of the tree and her facial profile in the formation of the flying geese.
